About Us

The Industrial Centre of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University is a multi-disciplinary 'Learning Factory' generally recognised as an innovation in education and one of the University's unique strengths. Through hands-on training, a realistic work environment, the Industrial Centre helps prepare trainees for a career in industry by providing them with a practical understanding of engineering materials, tools, machines, equipment, software, process control, quality assurance, maintenance, occupational safety, environmental awareness, and so on.
