This module provides a comprehensive
coverage for general office tools. It complements theoretical learning
by providing hand-on practices through problem solving project assignments:
- Create documents
- Create presentations
- Create spreadsheets
- Create and manage database
- Schedule process and product planning
- Convert materials for web publication
On completion of the module, students should be
able to:
- Apply WORD in daily data-processing and reporting.
- Apply Powerpoint in project presentation
- Apply ACCESS in simple database creation, data
sorting and retrieval and reporting
- Set up EXCEL spreadsheets and apply simple
spreadsheets in applications such as business and scientific calculations,
charts and graphs plotting and reporting.
- Interface the software with other desktop
publishing software.
