The University
The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) is the largest tertiary institution funded by the HKSAR Government. It currently has approximately 1,000 full-time academic staff, 12,000 full-time students and 6,500 part-time students.

The Industrial Centre
Industrial Centre (IC) is a Model Factory for Multi-disciplinary Integrated Learning. It has always been viewed as something of an innovation in technical education. It is also considered to be one of the PolyU's current and unique strengths. A number of specialist centers have been established within IC, most of which are unique in Hong Kong.

Part-time Programmes
Industrial Centre run various kinds of courses throughout the year with School of Professional Education and Executive Development (SPEED).
