The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU)
is the largest tertiary institution funded by the HKSAR Government.
It currently has approximately 1,000 full-time academic staff, 12,000
full-time students and 6,500 part-time students.
Industrial Centre (IC) is a Model Factory
for Multi-disciplinary Integrated Learning. It has always been viewed
as something of an innovation in technical education. It is also
considered to be one of the PolyU's current and unique strengths.
A number of specialist centers have been established within IC,
most of which are unique in Hong Kong.
Industrial Centre run various kinds of courses
throughout the year with School of Professional Education and Executive
Development (SPEED).
