IC Fun Tour is back! The coming IC Fun Tour is scheduled on Thursday, 21 March 2013, from 2.30 – 4.00 pm. If you haven’t been to IC before or know us just vaguely, here is a good opportunity to explore or re-explore us. Come and join our fun tour, learn more on our services, facilities and how they can help realizing your study, research, final year project or assignment. All PolyU students are welcome to join.

The IC Fun Tour is not just full of fun and surprise. All participants will be able to get one or more bonus throughout the Tour.

To register, please send email to sally.chan.ic@polyu.edu.hk with you name, department and post. Please specify if you are a student. For enquiry, please contact Miss Sally Chan at 2766-7581.

Engineering support service for students

Many of you shall now be very busy working on your final year project or graduate assignment. You can always count on us on the provision of engineering support to assist your work. IC encourages students to utilize its facilities and equipment to enhance their study, assignment and project. Undergraduate or postgraduate can approach the IC for technical consultation, fabrication and manufacturing support. However, please reserve ample time for booking and preparation as there might be a long student queue already for some of the popular facilities and machines. Come and check with our workshops and technical staff on what we can support.

Did you receive your summer timetables?

The summer (Sem 3) learning activities timetables have been sent out to all students via email in early May. If you are required to undertake IC learning activities during summer and you still have not received your timetables, please contact our Student Enquiry Counter at Room W309, tel: 2766-7585 or email: ic@polyu.edu.hk. QR code adopted now!

The IC Learning Programmes can now be accessed via Quick Response (QR) code. If you have a QR code scanner or camera phone with QR scanner application, simply capture the QR code with your device and it will take you to our web site with your requested learning programme information. The codes are listed and posted at IC Student Enquiry Counter and IC notice board located at Podium level.

Re-take of Class/Training

Seek Approval for Leave

Students are reminded to seek prior approval if you need to take leave from your scheduled class/training/activity and giving as much advance notice as possible. To apply for leave application, students should complete form IC-T08 which is available from the web or 3/F Student Enquiry Counter, seek approval from IC Trainee Affairs Officer together with supporting documents or explanatory lettter(s). The approved form shall be submitted to 3/F Student Enquiry Counter in person.
