ATAL corporate training starts
A 4-week corporate training tailored-made to ATAL commences today. The training covers various technical disciplines including sheet metal and welding, computer numerical control, electronics and plastics. The objective of this corporate training is to equip ATAL trainees with hands-on ability and knowledge in the four technical disciplines. ATAL Trainees are expected to learn and practice the use of common hand tools and machineries in fabricating mechanical parts for an assembled product. Donation Ceremony
A special ceremony to acknowledge the HK$700,000 worth metrology system donation made to the IC by the Hong Kong Aero Engine Services Limited (HAESL) with the support of Metrology Software Products Limited (MSP) was held on today (Tuesday, 12 April 2011). HK$700,000 software donation
The IC recently received a donation of Metrology System worth more than HK$700,000 from the Hong Kong Aero Engine Services Limited (HAESL) with the support of Metrology Software Products Limited (MSP). A special ceremony to acknowledge the donation will be held on Tuesday, 12th April 2011 at PolyU’s House of Innovation at 2.30pm. Ir Professor Alex Wai, PolyU’s Vice President (Research Development) will be officiating at the ceremony.
