When Terracotta Warrior meets 3D Printing
36 local families with children aged from 6 to 12 participated in a series of Terracotta Warrior Figure Workshop offered by IC on Saturdays from 7 July to 11 August 2012. Their fruitful design and make outcomes are now being exhibited in “The Terracotta Warrior Inspired Design” Finale Exhibition held in the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, over the period of 16 August to 9 September 2012. Parents and kids used their imagination to design and make the appearance and armor of their own terracotta warrior robot by using modern product design technologies. Visit of Swire and HAECO
Mr Merlin Swire (1st, right), Non-executive Director of John Swire & Sons Limited and Mr Augustus Tang (1st, left), CEO of HAECO paid a visit to IC in this afternoon (Thursday, 9 August). They are accompanied by Ms Marjorie Yang, PolyU’s Council Chairlady and Ir Professor Alex Wai, PolyU’s Vice-President (Research Development).
