Visit of Lufthansa
This morning (Thursday, 16 May) we received two guests from Philippines Lufthansa Technical Training Centre, Mr Jochen HARMS (second, left), General Manager and Mr Joerg FRITSCHEN (second, right), Project Manager/Business Development. Director of IC Dr Stephen O’BRIEN and Associate Director Mr Andrew GRIDLEY received them and tour them around IC technical workshops. They came for a meeting with IC senior staff to discuss on any potential collaborations with the newly established ASRC with Boeing.

With the support of local partners, PolyU and The Boeing Company, the world’s largest aerospace company, will establish Hong Kong’s first Aviation Services Research Centre (ASRC), deepening the University’s commitment to the rapidly growing aviation industry. The signing of MOU on ASRC was held on 10 November 2012 at a ceremony participated by representatives of Boeing and PolyU and witnessed by representatives of Hong Kong Government and local industry players. PolyU strikes landmark deal with Boeing
The signing of an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) and The Boeing Company has paved the way for the establishment of Hong Kong’s first Aviation Services Research Centre (ASRC). Visit of Boeing
Accompanied by PolyU’s Vice President (Research & Development) Professor Alex Wai, Mr Al Bryant, Vice President (Research & Technology) (left, second) paid a visit to PolyU IC this morning (Wednesday, 10 August). In the 3-hour visit Mr Al Bryant was introduced to most of the Centre’s technical workshops, facilities and student projects. PolyU President Professor Timothy Tong also had a short meeting with Mr Al Bryant to explore on any collaboration possibilities.
