Training for HAESL completes
Ten trainees from the Hong Kong Aero Engine Services Limited (HAESL) successfully completed their 16-week training at IC. The training programme includes basic machine operation training, project-based integrated training and advance project-based training. The training started in September 2012 and ended just before the last day of Year 2012. On their last day of training, Dr Stephen O’Brien presented training certificates to them and had a quick check on their project work. HAESL has been sending their graduate trainees to undertake technical skills and project training at IC for the past several years.
Ready for another level of work
A group of young trainees from the Hong Kong Aero Engine Services Limited (HAESL) successfully completed their 16-week technical training undertaken at the IC and received their certificates from Dr Stephen O’Brien, Director of IC during their last day of training (Monday, 27 June). In addition to the 16-week technical training offered by the IC, these young trainees still have to undergo many in-house training and development programmes in order to be competent for their work. Nowadays very few employers are so dedicated to staff development. HAESL is one of the very few and definitely deserves our salute.
