ATAL corporate training starts

A 4-week corporate training tailored-made to ATAL commences today. The training covers various technical disciplines including sheet metal and welding, computer numerical control, electronics and plastics. The objective of this corporate training is to equip ATAL trainees with hands-on ability and knowledge in the four technical disciplines. ATAL Trainees are expected to learn and practice the use of common hand tools and machineries in fabricating mechanical parts for an assembled product. 8th Abilympics@PolyU IC

The 8th Hong Kong Abilympics will soon be held at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) on Saturday, 19 March 2011. The IC will be supporting the event by organising the skill competition for the following five categories: CAD – Architecture; CAD – Machinery; Electronic Assembly and Testing; Creating Web Pages; and Bicycle Assembly. The competitions of the above five categories will be held in the Industrial Centre on Saturday, 19 March 2011.
