Engineering Excellence Award

The IC team was awarded the Chief Marshal’s Award for Engineering Excellence in the Hong Kong 24-hour Charity Pedal Kart Grand Prix held on last Saturday and Sunday, 11 and 12 February 2012 at Victoria Park, Hong Kong for its good pedal kart engineering design and mechanism. This is the second time the IC team participated in this competitive race. Last time we finished 26th out of 33 and this year, we finished 10th out of 32. Ready to go!

IC staff members are working on last minute preparation for a really challenging and demanding competition – Hong Kong 24-Hour Charity Pedal Kart Grand Prix organized by the Hong Kong Round Table. The race will be held on 11 and 12 February 2012 at Victoria Park, Hong Kong. The Pedal Grand Prix is a 24-hour race comprising a number of classes of kart. Each participating team pedals in relays for 24 hours and is responsible for raising funds for charities.
